This series includes over 60 posters for concerts, benefits, and other appearances. Most feature Marcia Ball, but some include other artists, particularly a number of posters for the Austin venue, La Zona Rosa, owned by Ball and her husband, Jim Fowler.

The largest series, Chili, documents the chili cook-off in Terlingua, the Chili Appreciation Society International, and Wick Fowler’s 2-Alarm Chili product, and contains articles and clippings, a scrapbook, promotional materials, photographic materials, and artifacts. Note that the while the scrapbook largely contains Chili-related clippings, awards, posters, advertisements, and a draft by Fowler, it also contains articles by Fowler on World War II, the Vietnam War, crime, and boating.

The fifth series is related to Eckhardt’s research, writing, and publishing of her memoir Duchess of Palms. It includes timelines of Eckhardt’s life and several working copies of the manuscript.
7-A Ranch
Materials consist of collected background information files on events, conferences, clippings, topics, and current events associated with the university to reference when writing press releases as well as the press releases themselves. Also contains small amount of photographs and digitial media. These files were compiled first by the University News Service, and later added to after their transfer to the University Archives. Inventory organized by box number.

7 weight Loomis fly rod made by John Graves. Two pieces in green canvas case, case is 59” long. Written on the fly rod: “Loomis F1087 IMX J. Graves” plus Graves’s infinity symbol. According to Bill Wittliff, this was the last fly rod that Graves used, and the fishing line is crinkled at the end where Graves removed the last fly. , undated
Photographs and artifacts collected from Hard Scrabble for the John Graves archive. This collection includes photographs of John Graves and his family, including early 20th and late 19th century family photographs. This collection also contains two clay jugs, one leather belt with the silver “infinity” symbol belt buckle worn by John Graves, the camp box that Graves used during his canoe trip for Goodbye to a River, and a 7 weight Loomis fly rod made by Graves.
